{"id":12430,"date":"2025-11-29T10:20:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T08:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euapp01.newsmemory.com\/lamarseillaise\/news\/?p=12430"},"modified":"2025-12-04T08:38:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T06:38:14","slug":"hydrogene-fret-le-port-de-sete-se-modernise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euapp01.newsmemory.com\/lamarseillaise\/news\/2025\/11\/29\/hydrogene-fret-le-port-de-sete-se-modernise\/","title":{"rendered":"Hydrog\u00e8ne, fret : le port de S\u00e8te se modernise"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>S\u00e8te est une \u00eele singuli\u00e8re mais son port (maritime, p\u00eache, plaisance), est loin d\u2019\u00eatre isol\u00e9. 18 ans apr\u00e8s en avoir acquis la gestion aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00c9tat, la R\u00e9gion Occitanie poursuit la modernisation et la d\u00e9carbonation du plus grand port d\u2019Occitanie.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Carole Delga (PS) \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la R\u00e9gion en 2016, pas moins de 600\u00a0millions d\u2019euros ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 investis avec les partenaires priv\u00e9s (290 ME). Ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 permis la r\u00e9fection des quais (H, Mailhol), la r\u00e9novation du m\u00f4le Masselin, la modernisation de la Cri\u00e9e ou la r\u00e9habilitation du canal du Rh\u00f4ne \u00e0 S\u00e8te. R\u00e9sultat\u00a0: un trafic doubl\u00e9 (6\u00a0millions de tonnes de marchandises), un chiffre d\u2019affaires d\u2019un milliard d\u2019euros et plus de 2\u00a0300 emplois au lieu de 1\u00a0500 en 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 en croire la pr\u00e9sidente de R\u00e9gion, qui pr\u00e9voit de r\u00e9injecter 150\u00a0millions d\u2019euros dans les ports d\u2019ici 2030 et cr\u00e9er 200 emplois directs, ce n\u2019est que le d\u00e9but. Avec la livraison de l\u2019usine de transformation d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne vert et l\u2019\u00e9olien flottant \u00e0 Port-la-Nouvelle (Aude), le d\u00e9veloppement du port de S\u00e8te-Frontignan forme un bin\u00f4me qui s\u2019inscrit dans une <i>\u00ab<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>strat\u00e9gie portuaire globale coh\u00e9rente<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u00bb<\/i> qui doit participer \u00e0 l\u2019objectif que l\u2019Occitanie devienne la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9gion d\u2019Europe \u00e0 \u00e9nergie positive d\u2019ici 2050. <i>\u00ab<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>La transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique n\u2019est pas une contrainte mais une opportunit\u00e9 pour inventer le port de demain et r\u00e9industrialiser notre pays<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u00bb, <\/i>abonde Philippe Malagola, pr\u00e9sident du port.<\/p>\n<p>Le 25\u00a0novembre, la triple inauguration a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e comme un tournant. D\u2019abord S\u00e8te s\u2019est dot\u00e9e d\u2019une drague Hydromer capable de nettoyer les ports et petits bassins de plaisance jusqu\u2019\u00e0 36 m\u00e8tres de profondeur. Construit \u00e0 Concarneau, le navire de 70 m\u00e8tres de long peut transporter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1\u00a0500\u00a0m<sup>3<\/sup> de s\u00e9diments. En service depuis un an d\u00e9j\u00e0, la drague a r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 440\u00a0000\u00a0m<sup>3<\/sup>. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une <i>\u00ab<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>drague hybride \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne au top des normes environnementales<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u00bb<\/i>, se f\u00e9licite le capitaine David Lenoble. Pour amortir son co\u00fbt essentiellement financ\u00e9 par la R\u00e9gion (26,75\u00a0millions d\u2019euros sur 30), la drague sera lou\u00e9e 3 mois de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u2019autres ports de la fa\u00e7ade m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"intext\"> 22 500 camions de moins\n              <\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>D\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2026, un dispositif hydrog\u00e8ne (produit \u00e0 Port-la-Nouvelle) sera impl\u00e9ment\u00e9 \u00e0 la drague, d\u2019o\u00f9 <i>\u00ab<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>une r\u00e9duction de 25% des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effets de serre<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u00bb<\/i>, se r\u00e9jouit Carole Delga. Un outil compl\u00e9mentaire de l\u2019\u00e9lectrification des quais H, G et du m\u00f4le Masselin (7\u00a0millions d\u2019euros). En attendant d\u2019\u00e9quiper le quai d\u2019Alger pour raccorder les navires de croisi\u00e8re, ce sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 4\u00a0800 tonnes de CO2 \u00e9vit\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e, soit l\u2019\u00e9quivalent des \u00e9missions de 1\u00a0800 foyers. <i>\u00ab<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>L\u2019\u00e9lectrification des quais sera obligatoire en 2030, on a 5 ans d\u2019avance<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u00bb<\/i>, insiste Carole Delga.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, le port de S\u00e8te-Frontignan s\u2019est dot\u00e9 pour 19,4\u00a0millions d\u2019euros d\u2019un nouveau terminal ferroviaire. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie fran\u00e7aise Modalohr, le chargement horizontal permet de se passer de grues. Autant de gain de temps et de co\u00fbts. G\u00e9r\u00e9e par VIIA, l\u2019infrastructure permettra de transporter 22\u00a0500 semi-remorques entre S\u00e8te et Calais au lieu de 15\u00a0000 jusqu\u2019ici (objectif \u00e0 terme\u00a0: 40\u00a0000\/an). Un report modal vers le fret ferroviaire qui, l\u00e0 encore, limitera les camions sur les routes et \u00e9liminera 30\u00a0000 tonnes de CO2 dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re. Un dispositif innovant qu\u2019est venu saluer le nouveau patron de la SNCF, Jean Castex.
