Es gebe \u201ebestimmte Fragen, die gekl\u00e4rt und geregelt werden m\u00fcssen\u201c.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">Die USA haben angek\u00fcndigt, ihre Truppenpr\u00e4senz in Europa zu reduzieren. Washington dr\u00e4ngt seit L\u00e4ngerem \u2013 und besonders lautstark seit Trumps Amtsantritt im Januar 2025 \u2013 darauf, dass insbesondere die europ\u00e4ischen NATO-Staaten mehr Verantwortung f\u00fcr die Verteidigung des B\u00fcndnisgebiets \u00fcbernehmen.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">Dieser von den USA als \u201eburden shifting\u201c bezeichnete Prozess soll ein zentrales Thema des Gipfels am 7. und 8. Juli in der t\u00fcrkischen Hauptstadt sein. Zudem soll es um die Unterst\u00fctzung der Ukraine und den Ausbau der R\u00fcstungskapazit\u00e4ten gehen.
