Mittlerweile gibt es nach Angaben der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) fast 750 Verdachtsf\u00e4lle und 177 mutma\u00dfliche Todesf\u00e4lle in dem zentralafrikanischen Land.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">Es gebe zwar Fortschritte bei \u00dcberwachungsma\u00dfnahmen und Labortests, schrieb WHO-Chef Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus auf X. Doch Gewalt und Unsicherheit behinderten die Bek\u00e4mpfung der Epidemie<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">82 Infektionen und 7 Todesf\u00e4lle wurden laut Tedros im Labor best\u00e4tigt. Es handelt sich um den insgesamt 17. registrierten Ebola-Ausbruch im Kongo seit 1976.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">Der Ausbruch des seltenen Bundibugyo-Typs des Ebolavirus, gegen den es weder einen Impfstoff noch eine Therapie gibt, macht die Lage besonders schwierig.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mb-5 xl:mb-[15px]\">Ebolafieber ist eine ansteckende und lebensbedrohliche Infektionskrankheit. Das Virus wird durch K\u00f6rperkontakt und Kontakt mit K\u00f6rperfl\u00fcssigkeiten \u00fcbertragen. In den Jahren 2014 und 2015 waren bei einer Ebola-Epidemie in Westafrika mehr als 11.000 Menschen gestorben.
